India has all kinds of consumers. While masses are yet to understand furniture in terms of functionality, space saving and use as per indoor and outdoor requirements, there is a niche top segment (among the elite living in metros and the cash rich upper class of tier-II cities) which looks straight to the global hubs for inspiration and buying. This is a recent development among this class which is slowly cascading to other layers. The variety that we are seeing today for outdoors were at one time only seen in prestigious homes, hotels, spas, pool and luxury terraces.
