There has been an upswing in the recycling of old materials and crafting new ones using waste. “Creating and pairing timeless beauty with technical and new design innovations, customisation as per individual requirements are in high demand these days. Several brands are introducing healthier and eco-friendly materials. They reuse and recycle the excess supplies from their furniture. Companies use advanced engineering methods to produce high-quality furniture that is conscious of their carbon footprint,” tells Aparna Kaushik, Founder, Aparna Kaushik Design Group.

Sachin & Neha explicate, “Materials like bamboo, cork, rattan are also being refined. As far as textiles are concerned, innovative new materials that will reduce reliance on synthetic materials, as also recycled or upcycled textiles will come out.”
